The La Rosa 520 cigar honors HVC founder Reinier Lorenzo’s childhood home — named for the street he grew up on in Havana, Cuba. The normal La Rosa 520 blend is a Nicaraguan puro comprising Aganorsa tobaccos, but this Maduro version trades the original’s Jalapa Corojo ’99 wrapper for a Mexican San Andrés Maduro leaf. Tasting notes are lingering pepper, tangy earth, dried fruit, leather, and espresso.

HVC’s 500 Years Anniversary cigar is a Nicaraguan puro composed of a Corojo ’99 wrapper from Jalapa, a binder from Jalapa, and fillers from both Jalapa and Estelí — all the tobacco sourced from Aganorsa.
